Mechanical Tests

(Per ASTM A249, ASTM A269, ASME SA249, ASTM A1016/A1016M, and ASME SA1016/SA1016M) Tension, flattening, flange, reverse-bend, hardness, flare, reverse flat, Eddy Current (non-destructive electric) and other tests per customer requirements.

Annealing

Bright annealed and rapidly quenched per material and specification requirements.

Finishes

Tubing is normally supplied with a bright annealed finish. Mechanically polished finishes are available upon request. Each tube is marked with size, grade, heat number, specification, NDE, LaserTube and date/time produced.

Packaging

Tubing is typically packaged in hex or square bundles with clear identification on the outside of each bundle. For additional protection, corrugated cardboard or wood boxing is available.
